Avalon Global Solutions, or "AGS," a provider of mobile lifecycle management or "MLM" solutions in North America, announced a strategic partnership with Teleopti, a Swedish company offering telecommunications expense management applications in Europe, Asia and the Middle East that address enterprise-level mobility management globally.
As per the agreement, company officials said that AGS and Teleopti will work closely together to provide a Global Telecom Expense Management Solution. AGS will resell Teleopti's products and services in North America and abroad, the companies said.
Michael Mansouri, chairman and CEO of AGS, said the companies will deliver "a common service suite which is "localized" to the national market in terms of multi-lingual, multi-currency feature/functionality and meeting "local" regulatory requirements."
Both companies, which officials said offer complementary products, share a common vision of providing fixed and mobile lifecycle management globally.
With this partnership, the two companies will provide customers with a comprehensive suite of fixed and mobile lifecycle management solutions for multinational enterprises. These solutions, according to company officials, find an answer to the technical and financial demands associated with managing enterprise network and mobility initiatives.
Teleopti Pro, a TEM solution from Teleopti, controls costs, monitors quality and manages all communication devices and services. Teleopti's technology receives electronic invoices from more than 40 carriers in 30 countries, the company said. Teleopti technology is fully compliant with all local regulations such as European Union privacy regulations
"Currently enterprises are driving for business enablement as well as visibility and control over fixed and mobile expenses," said Nils Bildt, president of Teleopti. "AGS and Teleopti, as leaders in their respective markets, will deliver classic Telecom Expense Management with Mobile Device Management and expanded Help Desk capabilities with increased scalability through additional staff, and redundancy from multiple locations."
With this integrated solution, enterprises will gain visibility to better manage costs globally while improving their mobile workforces experience and capability to use smartphones and mobile applications, Bildt added.
Avalon Global Solutions also announced a new joint venture with GPXS Services to expand their services and geographic scope of operations. The new joint venture, Avalon Advanced Mobility Solutions or "AAMS" will combine the strengths and resources of both companies to create a global mobility management services capability for enterprise customers requiring advanced BlackBerry (News - Alert) and smartphone managed services, company officials said.
