vCom Solutions Appoints New Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Industry veteran Carina Hayek recently joined telecom management company vCom Solutions Inc. as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Hayek holds more than 10 years of marketing and management experience in technology and telecom organizations. In her new role, she will be responsible for implementing strategic marketing initiatives designed to drive growth for vCom Solutions.
vCom Solutions helps mid-enterprise business manage inventory, expenses and carrier relationships so they can achieve better business intelligence that drives profitability. Earlier this year vCom updated its vManager with version 4.4, a cloud-based software to streamline and automate the management of telecom lifecycles, helping users gain visibility and control over their spending and inventory.
Based in the company's San Ramon, Calif., headquarters, Hayek will be responsible for the direction of vCom's strategic marketing program. She will develop, manage and execute vCom's marketing and corporate communications, public relations, online engagement and strategic partnership and sponsorship initiatives.
Hayek holds a BA degree in English Literature from Cornell University and an MBA from the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.
Before joining vCom, she worked as the Director of Marketing at Quickcomm Inc., a global provider of telecom management solutions. There she played a crucial role as her marketing initiatives helped increase Quickcomm's sales revenue by 53 percent.
Prior to that, she built marketing programs for OneWire Inc., an online career management tool for the financial services industry. In just nine months, Hayek's strategic acquisition programs recruited 40,000 job seekers and 300 colleges and universities into the OneWire system.
With her vast experience, she has also served as Director of Marketing for Control Point Solutions (News - Alert), a telecommunications expense management firm.
vCom Solutions’ vManager received the 2012 INTERNET TELEPHONY
TEM Excellence Award for its ability to address the challenges of managing enterprise telecom and data networks, including the design and procurement of the network, the day-to-day operational management, financial optimization and actionable business intelligence.
