With greater visibility and control over telecom spend, companies can achieve considerable cost saving. NetPlus, a communications management solutions provider for both commercial and government entities, has come up with an assortment of tools that can give enterprise businesses and government organizations additional savings on their telecom expenses, one of the greatest and often overlooked expense areas for any enterprise.
Using the NetPlus Telecom Expense Management solution, customers can typically achieve 10 to 20 percent savings per month, NetPlus said in a statement.
Utilizing three key information sources, NetPlus telecom expense management helps companies assess their communication expenses, examine invoices in details and compare them with usage and rate plans. This protects customers from being unduly charged. Overcharges and credits owed by the vendor are automatically tracked.
NetPlus telecom expense management has been specifically designed for enterprise-level converged networks and can be quickly deployed to provide an integrated view across legacy telecom and VoIP networks. By automating communications network operations and management, the solution helps improve end-user service, allocate and control costs, increase data accuracy and accessibility and streamline communication flows.
“Telecommunications expense management is a key feature of NetPlus TMS. Our customers have used our tools for years to manage their communications assets and they can use the same tool to manage their vendor bills. It’s not a surprise that telecom vendors over charge, but with NetPlus telecom expense management customers can compare their invoice to what the actual usage is, potentially saving them 10 percent to 20 percent each month,” said Matt Lewis, president of NetPlus.
Earlier this year, NetPlus announced the federal government, including the department of defense and civilian agencies, continue to leverage NetPlus TMS to improve productivity and support new and existing communications infrastructure.
Commercial clients are also steadily migrating to the new NetPlus TMS 6.0 while enhancing feature sets. Enhancements include granular visibility into call routing data, specifically call origination and termination, to optimize dial plans and correctly handle charge backs.
