NetPlus, a solution provider for telecom expense management, data validation, fault management, inventory tracking and control and provisioning, announced it has won several customers -- both commercial and federal -- for its latest NetPlus TMS solution.
Through NetPlusTMS, the company helps automate communications network operations and management to improve end-user service, allocate and control costs, increase data accuracy and accessibility and streamline communication flows.
The solution has been specifically designed for enterprise-level converged networks and can be quickly deployed to provide an integrated view across legacy telecom and VoIP networks.
NetPlus is now offering upgraded version of NetPlus TMS to its customers. The latest NetPlus TMS 6 features improved productivity features and supports new and existing communications infrastructure.
The enhanced version of telecom expense management and inventory tracking solution also offers granular visibility into call routing data, specifically call origination and termination, to optimize dial plans and correctly handle charge backs.
“NetPlus has always listened to our customer base and NetPlus TMS 6 includes several features that have been requested. We also have our NITRO product line which enhances the productivity and the user experience,” said Matt Lewis, NetPlus president, in a statement.
Additional features of the NetPlus product is the NetPlus NITRO line of modular products designed to further enhance NetPlus TMS functionality. The solution includes Dashboards, SmartMap, and VoIP Transition Tool.
Earlier in June, the company announced NetPlus TMS 6.2 has become the only product in its category to obtain the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) certification on the Avaya (News
- Alert) CM6 series switch. JITC certification is required by many Department of Defense (DoD) agencies such as the US Army as well as other federal government agencies.
The certification means customers can go to that switch and continue to use NetPlus TMS while maintaining their security posture.
NetPlus TMS is also JITC-certified on a number of switches from other manufacturers like Cisco (News
- Alert) and Lucent.
