As a provider of enterprise contract management solutions and strategic supply, Emptoris recently revealed that its application for ECM has connected with Salesforce’s CRM technologies. Offering an integrated adapter for Salesforce’s on-demand CRM solution, Emptoris will leverage Force.com to work inside customers’ current Salesforce CRM environment.
The Emptoris Contract Management Adapater provides seamless access to advanced contract management functionality within the Salesforce interface, according to the company. Patrick D. Quirk, president and CEO of Emptoris stated, “Emptoris has always been ahead of the curve in delivering leading edge contract management capabilities to our Global 1000 customers.”
The adapter guides the user through initiating new contracts through an intuitive interview, and it auto-populates the customer’s data directly within the Salesforce interface. Users can view contract statuses as the contracts are negotiated and finalized.
Quirk continued, “With this tight integration in Salesforce CRM, our customers are able to reduce the time they spend on managing contracts thus accelerating the quote-to-cash process.”
Emptoris has also been added to the Salesforce.com (News
